Cultural Organizing for Community Change took place in Gowanus, Brooklyn, 
on November 12, 2016 from 9:30am - 6:00pm followed by a reception.

The learning exchange included:
  • A cultural organizing framework
  • Theater, movement, singing, visual arts, and writing workshops
  • Discussions about affordable housing, gentrification, and racial justice
  • Youth cultural organizing exchange
  • An opportunity to give input to the NYC cultural plan
  • Case studies, networking, and resources 
  • Great people and delicious food!
